Serving my Church
It is our desire that every believer at First Baptist Church Longwood live a “missional” life. As believers embrace the gospel they will have a greater desire to serve. We want every believer to understand that they are sent out to live on mission in their home, neighborhood, school, workplace, community, state, nation and world. Part of embracing the gospel and living a life on mission is serving your local church. If you want more information about ways you might be able to serve the church and church family please fill out the form below and we will get you all the information you seek.
Our welcome team strives to create the best possible experience for our guests every Sunday morning. They also help assist our guests in getting where they need to go.
Our childcare workers are superstars! They help care for our toddlers and babies in the nursery every Sunday morning. Our workers sacrifice their time to ensure each child is loved and cared for while their parents are able to study God’s word during Sunday school and worship God during our worship service.
Our worship team, which consists of the praise team, choir and sound crew, use their gifts and passions to lead our church family in worship as we seek to exalt God.
Our Student Ministry volunteers are passionate about reaching the next generation and empowering them to Love God, Love Others, and Serve the World.
Our children’s ministry volunteers create interactive and fun times for our children to learn about the Bible on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights.
The goal of our adult ministry is to make disciples. Our adult ministry volunteers acknowledge that they have a passion for teaching others about what it means to be a disciple.
